NAHB Past Chairmen and Presidents

Welcome to the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) Past Presidents and Chairmen information website. Here, you can browse the history of NAHB’s past leaders from 1940 to the present.

NAHB serves as the voice of America’s housing industry, working to ensure that housing is a national priority and that all Americans have access to safe, decent and affordable housing, whether they choose to buy a home or rent.

Each year, NAHB’s members construct about 80% of the new homes built in the U.S., both single-family and multifamily. A Federation of more than 700 state and local associations, NAHB represents more than 140,000 members, about one-third of whom are home builders and remodelers. The rest work in closely related specialties like sales and marketing, housing finance, and manufacturing and supplying building materials.

We hope you will learn more about the past leaders of NAHB on the following pages and we thank you for visiting.
